By browsing, visiting, accessing and/or using the services on our platforms or searching for any of the pages on our platforms, the visitor or customer (hereby referred to as “Customers”, “you” or “your”) explicitly consents and agrees to our Privacy Policy laid out herein. You also agree that the information furnished by you is lawful, true and correct and does not violate or infringe any laws. In the case of any violations, infringement, or furnishing of wrongful or unauthorised information, Aertrip shall not be liable.

Additionally, we may also collect certain data automatically based on your visit to or interaction with our platforms. And we may also collect certain Personal Information related to you from third parties.
When browsing our platforms, you are not required to provide any Personal Information unless and until you choose to access features of the service that require such information.

Personally Identifiable Information like names, contact details which may include postal addresses, email addresses, contact numbers, social IDs, messenger profiles, passwords, gender, date of birth, occupation, location, marital information, and other demographic information, travel preferences, frequent - traveller or affinity numbers etc. This information is primarily used to:
Transactional Information like financial information such as billing details, taxation details, bank accounts, credit card, debit card or other payment instrument details and transaction related information. This information is used to:
Accounting information which includes information about the travel, transaction, bookings, co-passengers, purchase history, account ledgers, taxation details, and also including (without limitation) all billing information and communications, etc. We require this information to process, fulfil and confirm your reservations and transactions, keep you informed of each transaction's status and to maintain our books of accounts.
Other information that may be requested or gathered while you visit, access or use the platforms.
If you are making a reservation for one or more travellers other than yourself, it is deemed understood that each of these other travellers has agreed, in advance, that you may disclose their Personal Information to us. By giving us this information, you consent to this information being collected, used, disclosed, transferred and stored by us, as described in our Terms of Use and in this Privacy Policy.
(b) Information we collect automatically:
From Cookies: We and our partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyse trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may partner with third parties to either display advertising or other content on our website or to manage our advertising on other sites based upon your browsing activities and interests. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. Please note you might continue to receive generic ads even if you opt out of interest-based advertising cookies.
From your use of our platforms: When you use our platforms, we may collect information about your visit to our platforms, your usage of the services, and your web browsing.

From Web beacons: We may use pixel gifs or web beacons on our platforms and in our emails. When we send emails to you, we may track behaviour such as who opened the email, what link was clicked, when was the email opened, your IP address, your browser or email client type, and other similar details. This allows us to create reports and to measure the performance of our email campaigns, what actions our subscribers took, and to improve our features for specific Customers. We use this information to improve our platforms, tailor them to your likely interests, and conduct market research. This allows us, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within our platforms to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to our platforms from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, and to measure the success of e-mail marketing campaigns. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will impair their functioning.
(c) Social Networks: We source data from social networks. This data includes names, physical addresses, email addresses, contact numbers, profile picture, date of birth, gender, location, a list of your friends on those social networks, their names, email addresses, social IDS and other relevant information. This information makes it easy for our Customers to sign-in and fill-in forms. It also helps us in understanding your demographics and profile better so we can deliver specific solutions to you.
(d) Information from other sources: We may receive more information about you, such as names, email address, contact numbers, demographic information, IP addresses, location, use of social media websites, etc. by searching the internet or querying third parties (we refer to that information as “Supplemental Information”). We use Supplemental Information to develop features including social profiles, a tool that helps us learn more about you, build and enhance products and services and send you more relevant content.
(e) Information from the use of our Mobile Apps:When you use our mobile apps, we may collect certain information in addition to the information described elsewhere in this Policy. For example, we may collect information about the type of device and operating system you use. We may use mobile analytics software to better understand how people use our application. We may collect information about how often you use the application and other performance data. We may also ask for access to various services on your device:
Notifications: We may ask if you want to receive push notifications. If you have opted for these notifications and no longer want to receive them, you may turn them off through your operating system. You can also opt to turn on only specific types of notifications via our app settings. We recommend that you opt in on notifications about activity in your account and choose the other notification options that you may like.
Contacts: We may ask you to provide access to your contacts to fetch information to be filled in web forms. Also, you can share your travel plans with friends, or invite them to try our app. We can even make recommendations for hotels where your friends have stayed.
Location Services: This permission enables us to give you the benefits of location-specific experience and deals. We can provide you country specific content, services, configurations and preferences. When you initiate a travel booking your nearest airport or city is auto-filled and we can recommend you nearest hotels.
Photos / Media / Files: Certain features of our apps require access to your photos, media, and files. For example, uploading a picture for a manually booked activity in Trips.
Camera: As mentioned above, access to the camera is required to capture and upload images.
Speech Recognition: Voice recognition features of our apps can be enabled by accessing speech recognition services on your device. This is essential for enabling some app related features.
Microphone: Voice recognition features of our apps can be enabled by accessing the microphone on your device. This is essential for enabling speech to text related features.
Fingerprint recognition technologies: This technology (Touch ID on iOS devices), can be turned on to save and quickly input sensitive information like login email address and password.
Calendars: Our app may access your calendars to save and fetch new and existing travel plans on your calendar.
Social Media Accounts / Identity: We may ask you to provide access to social media accounts. This is used for various purposes like signing in, accessing your information and social profile or information about your friends for filling traveller details.
SMS: With the SMS access, we can read your SMS to auto-fill or pre-populate ‘OTP’ while making a transaction and to validate your mobile number. This enables a seamless experience.
Phone: With the Phone access, we can make phone calls to hotels, airlines and our customer contact centres directly through the app.
Device & App history: We need your device permission to get information about your device, like OS (operating system) name and version, mobile network, hardware model, unique device identifier, preferred language, etc. On the basis of these inputs, we can optimise your travel booking experience or use OS specific capabilities to deliver certain experiences.
We may disclose your Personal Information to strategic partners that work with us as follows:
(a) Service providers: When you book or purchase travel services via Aertrip, we provide your Personal Information to the travel service providers such as airlines, hotels, car-rental agency, travel agency, or other involved third party to enable the successful fulfilment of your travel arrangements. We share individual Customer names or other Personal Information with our alliance partners or vendors who are engaged by us for providing various promotional and other benefits to our Customers from time to time on the basis of their bookings with us.
(b) Social Websites: When you opt to connect to third-party social websites we share your email, mobile number or any other such unique ID to them.
(c) Advertising partners: We may partner with third parties to display advertising on our platforms or to manage our advertising on other sites and may share Personal Information with them for this purpose. All third parties with which we share this information enter into a contract with us that requires them to use your Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with this policy. We or our third-party partners may use technologies, such as cookies, to gather information about your activities on our platforms and other sites in order to provide you with advertising based on your browsing activities and interests.
(d) Business Partners: Aertrip may share Personal Information with companies who provide services such as information processing, extending credit, fulfilling Customer orders, delivering products to you, managing and enhancing Customer data, providing Customer service, assessing your interest in our products and services, managing contests or sweepstakes, and conducting Customer research or satisfaction surveys. We may also use third-party services for the purpose of verifying mobile numbers and sending information to you via email or text messages (SMS). It is mandatory, we share your contact information and contents of the communication via these services. These companies are obligated to protect your information by confidentiality agreements.
(e) Non - Personal Information: We use non-personally identifiable information in aggregate form to build higher quality, more useful online services by performing statistical analysis of the collective characteristics and behaviour of our Customers and visitors, and by measuring demographics and interests regarding specific areas of the platforms. We may provide anonymous statistical information based on this data to suppliers, advertisers, affiliates and other current and potential Business partners. We may also use such aggregate data to inform these third parties as to the number of people who have seen and clicked on links to their websites.
(f) Related products businesses: We may share certain filtered Personal Information (only if you have consented to this) to our business partners who may contact you to offer certain products or services (which may include free or paid products or services) which enable you to have better travel experience or to avail certain special benefits. Examples of such partners are entities offering co-branded credit cards, travel insurance, or other services.
(g) Government Tax Authorities: We collect and furnish information including transactional and accounting information as is required in compliance with various taxation laws, court order, or as requested by other government or law and tax enforcement authorities.
(h) Law & Authority: It may be necessary − by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence − for Aertrip to disclose your Personal Information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, a disclosure is necessary or appropriate. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users. We may also furnish information if we believe that disclosure is otherwise necessary or advisable including, without limitation, to protect the rights or properties of Aertrip or any of its affiliates, associates, employees, directors or officers or when we have reason to believe that disclosing the information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing interference to our operations rights, interests, whether intentionally or otherwise, or when anyone else could be harmed by such activities.
(i) Others: In the event of a restructuring, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all Personal Information we collect to the relevant third party.
Aertrip takes the security of your Personal Information very seriously. Our platforms protect your Personal Information and payment transactions during transit using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS) when necessary. Certain data is stored in encrypted form.
When we share your information with our affiliates, third-party service providers, and other associated businesses we ensure that information is shared only to the context in which they are required and when they are required. We ensure that your data is used responsibly and governed by strict confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
Some devices or browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature which can be enabled to tell websites not to have your online activities tracked. These features are currently under development and not yet uniform, so our platforms do not monitor or follow any Do Not Track requests. However, we shall suitably respond to these features once a uniform standard has been laid down.
(a) Blog: Any information or content you share or post on an Aertrip blog, forum or chat room, is visible to other users and can be read, collected, or used by them. You are responsible for the Personal Information you choose to share or submit in these instances. For example, if you list your name and email address on a blog comment, that information is public. Please take care when using these features. If your Personal Information appears on our blogs and you want it removed, you can Contact Us. However, if we are unable to remove your information, we will tell you why.
(b) Social media platforms and widgets: Our platforms include social media features, such as the Post to social media or Like button. These features may collect information about your IP address and which page you are visiting on our Website, and they may set a cookie to make sure the feature functions properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Website. We maintain presences on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Any information, communications, or materials you submit to us via a social media platform is done at your own risk without any expectation of privacy. We cannot control the actions of other users of these platforms or the actions of the platforms themselves. Your interactions with those features and platforms are governed by the Privacy Policies of the companies that provide them.
(c) Links to third-party websites: Our platforms include links to other websites, whose privacy practices may be different from ours. If you submit Personal Information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their Privacy Policies. We encourage you to carefully read the Privacy Policy of any Website you visit. Aertrip’s Privacy Policy does not apply to the websites of our business partners, corporate affiliates or to any other third parties, even if their websites are linked to the site.
(e) Third Party Disclosures: We do everything we reasonably can to protect your rights of privacy on systems and platforms controlled by us. When transferring your data to third parties, we ensure that your data is used responsibly and governed by strict confidentiality agreements but we are not liable for any unauthorised or unlawful disclosures of your personal and confidential information made by third parties who are not subject to our control, for example advertisers and websites that have links to our platforms (such as airline websites to whom we pass on your Personal Information like name, date of birth, passport information, etc.). Certain data that we collect from you may be transferred to and stored with third parties on their designated servers which are beyond our control. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing.
(f) Viruses or Hacking:We do not guarantee that our Platforms will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. However, we do everything we reasonably can to protect all data on our website from viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. We also use the highest level of industry standard measures of security to ensure that a breach or hacking of our systems and data never happens.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to provide you with our services. We may also retain and use your information in order to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.
It is essential to safeguard your password and other sensitive data. We strongly recommend you to create a unique password that's unrelated to your Personal Information and uses a combination of alphabets and numbers (and even symbols). Don’t use simple words or phrases, keyboard patterns or sequential patterns which make your password easier to guess. And don't reveal or write down your password in notes, files, emails or even contacts where they can be easily accessed by others. Account passwords are one-way encrypted, which means no-one including Aertrip can see your passwords. Hence, we cannot resend forgotten passwords, we can only reset them.
Beware of Phishing attacks. Aertrip or any of its associated business will never ask for your password or other sensitive information in any form of communication.
